April is a native San Diego musician whose musical diversity spans from classical clarinet to the soulful sounds of her baritone sax. Throughout the years April has performed with many groups & artists including the Special Edition Orchestra Big Band, The San Diego Symphony & Opera, Blast, Michael Bolton, Manny Cepeda & numerous theatrical productions throughout San Diego.

In addition to music, April loves to dance! She grew up doing Scottish Highland dancing where she competed at the premier level & helped form a dance troupe that choreographed modern & Scottish movements. This love for dance/choreography and music has been the perfect fit for April as a member of the Saxatons,and the unofficial "Dance Captain" of the group!
 

When April is not performing she is teaching music. She loves sharing her passion for music and seeing the way it helps develop character, discipline & joy in young students! April holds a Masters degree in Music from APU.
